OK THIS MIGHT SOUND A LITTLE WEIRD TO A LOT OF YOU. AND RIGHTFULLY SO IT SHOULD. BUT LISTEN TO ME NOW AND BELIEVE ME LATER. IT’S A GOOD THING. I HAVE TO ADMIT IT DOES FEEL A LITTLE WEIRD THE FIRST TIME YOU DO IT.
LIGHTING UP A PILE OF WOOD OR CHARCOAL, OR FOR THAT MATTER, YOUR GAS GRILL AND WAITING FOR IT TO HEAT UP – – – TO GRILL SOME BREAD. THAT’S RIGHT. UH HUH. YEAH. I SAID “BREAD”.

ONCE YOU TRY IT YOURSELF FOR THE FIRST TIME AND EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT TO OLD WORLD ITALY, IT WILL MAKE YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR TOASTER IN THE TRASH.

JUST LOOK FOR THE TELL TALE BROWNING AND SEXY GRILL MARKS TO APPEAR AND YOU’RE READY TO GO. MY FAVORITE IS TAKING A CHEWY SOFT PITA AND PUTTING IT ON THE BUS TO CRUNCHY TOWN. IT’S A GREAT TRIP. FEELING REALLY CRAZY ? TRY A REAL “GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH” . . . . THINK ABOUT IT…….LISTEN TO ME NOW AND BELIEVE ME LATER!
